Best areas to live in Sacramento California. Sacramento has so many "pockets" as I call them. One neighborhood is known as a great neighborhood, then the next street over or the neighborhood just across the highway is not so good.

There are many places like this IN the same zip code, so it really takes someone who knows the area well to be able to tell someone which areas are great areas to live, like East Sac, Med Center, Fab 40s, Land Park, just to name a few.

There are many people who live here that don't know some of these areas. I've helped home buyers who have lived here a long time who say, "Wow! I didn't know this area existed. I've never been here before"
